Event Decorator Software: Mockup, Quote and Contract in One App

An event decorator’s working day runs in five places at once: messages with the client, Canva for the mockup, a spreadsheet for the quote, Word for the contract and phone notes for the install. Decorator software is there to turn all of that into one project. Here is what it should do and how it works in IQDeco.

What event decorator software should do

Graphic editors cover the mockup; client-management tools cover contracts and scheduling. Neither knows what is in the design, so the quote and the crew plan get rebuilt by hand. Software for event decorators should cover the whole path of an order.

A client brief by link

You send a link, and the client fills in the event, date, number of guests, venue, palette, style, budget and wishes without signing up, and can attach photos and references. The form opens with your studio’s logo and name, and you get a notification as soon as it is sent. The second part of the brief is yours: the size of the area, whether you can mount on walls and the ceiling, whether there is power, vehicle access and a freight elevator, the load-in and load-out windows.

A mockup editor made for decor

The editor is built for event decor, not for interiors or print:

Rendering and an AI mentor

The mockup becomes a photorealistic rendering: the AI sticks to your layout and sizes and adds volume, the texture of fabric and sequins, light and shadows. Before generating, you choose the light — daylight or evening. If the background is a photo of the venue, the decor is placed into that room.

Mr. Deco is the AI decor mentor inside the app. His answers rest on a decor handbook in which every rule is checked before he uses it. He will tell you which balloon sizes to mix in a garland and how to hang drapery, build a concept from references or from the brief, and match a client’s photo to Sempertex balloon and SolaAir sequin shades.

Quote, profit and documents

The quote is built from the mockup: the list of items fills in on its own, you set the prices yourself (inventory items get the rental price you gave them), and you add delivery, installation and other work. The software counts your cost, taxes and net profit — VAT in the EU and the UK or GST in Australia if you are registered, plus an optional income-tax estimate on profit; US quotes carry no sales tax line — while the client price is yours to set. The same project produces a document pack: a decoration services agreement, an appendix with the brief and images, a booking fee agreement, a completion certificate and more, as Word files; the client details you type in for the documents stay in your browser and are not saved on the server. Installs, orders and statistics

Software for wedding decorators

A wedding is the hardest order: several zones, a long approval process and a lot of responsibility. This is where the software helps most: the brief gathers the couple’s wishes, the head table, the photo backdrop and the welcome area go into one project — on a mockup of the room, with each zone as its own line in the quote — the rendering shows the room before the wedding, the quote covers all the decor at once, the contract records the design and the booking fee, and the order sheet keeps the crew from mixing up the zones on install day.

What it runs on

IQDeco opens in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone — nothing to install. On a phone you move the canvas with a finger, and a long press brings up a joystick for precise placement. The interface adapts to you: a light or dark theme, colors and font, and for left-handers a mirrored layout of the menu and the editor panels. Plans are on the pricing page.
