About IQDeco
Mr. Deco, the AI decor mentor
An AI mentor built on real decor know-how: advice for your project, concepts from references or the brief, photo breakdowns and composition checks.
Mr. Deco is the AI decor mentor inside IQDeco, and a lot of work went into him. He is not a general chatbot: his answers rest on a decor handbook collected and checked by working decorators — balloon techniques, drapery and fabric work, sequin walls, florals, installation rules, color schemes — and calibrated on more than a thousand real decor setups. He talks like a colleague, in plain decorator language, and when he doesn't know a technique, he says so instead of making things up.
Questions about the craft
Ask him about styles, materials, color, composition and installation: which balloon sizes to mix in an organic garland, how to hang drapery so it falls in even folds, what goes with a gold sequin wall, what is trending in event decor. Answers come structured — the gist first, then short blocks with the scheme, layers, materials and what to avoid — and end with the library sections where you will find those items. In the editor, those links open the library right on the right section.
A conversation about your project
Every project has its own conversation with Mr. Deco. There he sees the brief — the event, the palette, the style, the venue — the references you attached and the last check of your scene, so the advice is about this event, not decor in general. With one button he gives advice on the brief: which scheme suits it, what layers to build, which materials to take and what goes together.
Concepts from references or from the brief
A concept is an image of the future setup that you can show your client before you even open the editor. Upload one or two reference photos — Mr. Deco looks at each one and tells you what he sees: the structure, the colors, the materials. Then he guides you with questions instead of an empty prompt: what to take from each photo, the area, how bold it should be, the accent, the base of the backdrop, balloons, fabric, flowers, the metal shade, the top of the setup, the light and the scale. For any answer you can choose “as in the reference” or leave it to him, and a palette of up to three shades sets the main, the secondary and the accent color.
Inside a project, a concept can also be built from the brief alone, without photos. A finished concept can be edited with words — “make the stage red velvet” — and Mr. Deco finds that object and changes only it, keeping the rest. You can go back to the references and rebuild it, download it, break it down into shades or attach it to a project, where it appears in the card's design block and in Images.
Photo breakdowns
Send him a decor photo and he breaks it down: the shades of Sempertex balloons and SolaAir sequin panels with their numbers, marked right on the photo, the role of each color, the balloon sizes when there is something in the frame to judge the scale, the other decor — fabric, flowers, greenery, candles, neon — and the finishes. The color list can be copied for your supplier in one tap. The photo itself is not stored, and the breakdown can be attached to a project as a reference.
Composition checks in the editor
In the editor, Mr. Deco checks the composition of your scene: the layers and proportions, and the palette and textures as gentle advice rather than strict rules. Then he tells you in his own words what already works and what is worth improving. Change the scene and ask him to look again.
